Blow-Dry Technique

Rough-dry first (no brush)

Remove 70% of moisture by rough-drying with fingers on high heat/high speed. This reduces total styling time significantly.

Section and brush-dry

Divide into sections. Using the Carbon brush, blow-dry each section with the concentrator nozzle from root to tip, following the brush with the dryer.

Roll and tension

Roll the brush under at the ends for smoothness. Apply tension through the section for maximum smoothness and cuticle alignment.

Finish with cool shot

After each section is dry, hit it with the cool shot button to lock in the shape and close the cuticle for shine.

Detangler Use

Start at the ends

Always detangle from the ends upward, not from roots down. This prevents breakage and reduces discomfort for the client.

Work in sections

Divide hair into manageable sections before detangling. Work through each section progressively toward the root.

Use on wet or dry

The Efalock Detangler works on both wet and dry hair. On wet hair, use with a leave-in conditioner for effortless glide.
